Creative Technologist / Photographer
Timo Holzmann
I’m Timo, 30 years old, living in Augsburg.
I’m currently completing my master’s degree in Interactive Media Systems at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, specialising in Human-Computer Interaction Design. Alongside my studies, I work as a freelance photographer and designer of interactive prototypes, as well as a working student at LAB BINÆR – Laboratory for Media Art.
My focus is on prototyping and creative coding – wherever digital media meets physical interaction and new experiences emerge. I love bringing ideas to life with hardware and software, combining technology, design and craftsmanship to produce tangible outcomes.
Thanks to my background in mechanics and several semesters studying mechanical engineering, I have developed a solid foundation for planning, constructing and implementing physical projects. These experiences shape my creative approach and help me to combine technical precision with aesthetic design.
Outside of my work and studies, I enjoy travelling in my self-converted camper van, spending time in nature with my dog and expressing my creativity through photography.
